The serious incident occurred on September 6, at around 11:30 p.m., near the intersection of “Prohor Pcinski” and “Vojdan Çernodrinski” streets in Skopje.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, D.G. (29), A.Xh. (24), K.B. (36), E.B. (25) and A.M. (26), all residents of Skopje, were standing near the window of a business when they were attacked.
A motorcycle carrying two people stopped in front of the group. Shortly afterward, one of them opened fire on the five residents, while both perpetrators immediately fled the scene.
One of the bullets struck 26-year-old A.M. He was transported by ambulance to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex, but he did not survive his injuries and died in hospital.
Police have not yet disclosed the identities of the two attackers, while the motives for the incident also remain unclear.
