A 26-year-old man was injured on Sunday evening in the former Park area of Tirana, following a conflict that is suspected to have started over trivial reasons.

The incident was recorded at around 19:45, when Fabian Pitani was allegedly struck with a sharp-edged weapon. The young man was taken to hospital and, according to police, is out of danger.
Immediately after receiving the report, officers from Police Commissariat No. 2 went to the scene and began the initial investigative procedures.
As a result of the investigation, police identified and escorted Eduard Pelushi (Selmani), 53, who is suspected of the stabbing.
On 06.09.2026, at around 19:45, in the former Park area, during a conflict over trivial reasons, citizen F. P., 26, was allegedly struck with a sharp-edged weapon. He is in hospital and is out of danger.
After receiving the information, officers from Police Commissariat No. 2 arrived at the scene and, during the initial investigative procedures, identified and escorted citizen E. P. (S.), 53, suspected of being the perpetrator of the incident.
The investigative team is continuing to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict, document the incident and determine legal responsibility.
