Zelensky stated that Ukraine will not recognize Kosovo, standing by the Serbian president.
“Our position of not recognizing Kosovo remains the same. We thank Serbia for respecting Ukraine’s territorial integrity, including, of course, Crimea. Serbia’s position has not changed, including at the United Nations,” he said.
The Ukrainian president also emphasized that his country’s policy regarding Kosovo has not undergone any changes.
“We respect the territorial integrity of our partners and the principles of international law. For this reason, our position on Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence remains unchanged. We have always made this clear, and Ukraine’s policy has not changed,” Zelensky continued.
He expressed gratitude to the partners who respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, particularly for their position that Crimea is part of Ukraine.
