Monday afternoon brought rainfall to some parts of the territory, reaching 5 to 8 liters per square meter. Although the amount of water was not very large, the high intensity of the downpours caused problems in some regions, including damage to agricultural production. From the field, it is also reported that certain roads were blocked due to fallen trees, which disrupted mobility.
Unstable weather conditions are expected to accompany us in the coming days, weather specialists announce, but the rainfall will be more localized and less intense.

According to forecasts by Juliana Fidanoska, duty forecaster, temperatures on Tuesday will range from 30 to 36 degrees Celsius. “On Wednesday and Thursday, weather destabilization is expected in limited areas, with isolated and torrential rain, accompanied by thunder and strong wind, but in parallel we will have a rise in temperatures, which could climb up to 38 degrees Celsius,” she emphasized.
The floods of the previous week left numerous traces in Skopje, keeping several road axes blocked due to accumulated water, while other reports spoke of material damage caused by water entering homes and basements.
The agricultural sector suffered further blows from the downpours accompanied by hail, resulting in severely affected crops in various areas. It is expected that responsible institutions will compile a detailed assessment of the situation and take measures to repair the consequences caused.
