During a search of his home, police seized a substantial quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosive materials, the possession of which is prohibited for civilians. According to the Skopje Public Prosecutor’s Office, the items included an “M75” hand grenade with integrated metal spheres approximately 2 mm in diameter and a fragmentation effect, 240 rounds of various calibers, a 7.65 mm “Crvena Zastava” pistol with a magazine containing seven rounds, a “Beretta” pistol with a magazine containing six rounds, and approximately 7 grams of marijuana.
A motorcycle key was also found during the search. Police have operational information indicating that the motorcycle was used in the commission of a murder.
Considering that circumstances exist making detention necessary to ensure the unobstructed conduct of the criminal proceedings, the public prosecutor requested that this more stringent measure be imposed.
