A Jet Ski operator was fined 500,000 new lekë in Ksamil after allegedly violating the safety perimeter and entering the area where holidaymakers were swimming.
The incident was detected during a patrol by the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit in Ksamil’s maritime sector, in the area known as the “Ksamil Islands.”

According to police, the watercraft posed a risk to the lives and safety of holidaymakers. Officers immediately intervened to stop it and, following administrative procedures, impounded the Jet Ski.
The operator, identified as citizen P. A., was issued an administrative fine of 500,000 new lekë.
Police said that checks and patrols along the coastline will continue without interruption, while urging watercraft users to respect safety perimeters and not enter areas designated for holidaymakers.
