Two people were detained on 07.09.2026, at around 19:25, in Veles, during an operation carried out by police officers from the Section for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking at the Veles Department of Internal Affairs. They were L.A. (25) from Sveti Nikolla and D.S. (19) from Shtip.

Police stopped a Citroen passenger vehicle with Sveti Nikolla license plates, driven by L.A., with D.S. also inside as a passenger. The search found marijuana on the driver, while a white granular substance and marijuana were found and confiscated from the passenger.
After being detained, both individuals were taken to a police station. The public prosecutor was informed of the case, and once the documentation is completed, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against them.
