Tirana Police have begun taking action over the distribution of intimate videos online, which reportedly feature highly well-known figures from the world of art. Sources from the investigative team said that the Cybercrime units have carried out checks into the content of the materials, as well as the source from which the videos were published and subsequently distributed widely online.

So far, no investigation has reportedly been opened, as the published materials have not been found to contain elements involving violence or the participation of minors. It has also been reported that none of the people involved has approached the Tirana Police structures to file a complaint regarding the publication or distribution of the materials.
Consequently, no criminal proceeding has currently been registered.
