Skopje’s Public Water Supply and Sewerage Company has announced that the city’s water is safe to drink.
To inform residents about the quality and safety of the drinking water, the company has published its weekly report, based on analyses conducted by the Sanitary Control Department.

From 19.10.2026 to 22.10.2026, the department collected 159 samples for physical and chemical analyses and an equal number, 159, for microbiological analyses. The samples were taken at 44 testing points in the City of Skopje.
The results show that all samples comply with the Regulation on Requirements for the Safety and Quality of Drinking Water (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia, No. 183/18), the announcement by Skopje’s Public Water Supply and Sewerage Company said./Telegrafi/
