Rainfall, generally light in intensity, is forecast in mountainous areas during midday and the afternoon. At higher elevations, particularly in the north and east, the rain may take the form of thunderstorms, but only for very brief periods.
Temperatures will reach 40°C in Tirana, while intense heat is also expected in Elbasan and Shkodër.
Winds will blow from the west at an average speed of up to 6 m/s. At times, along the coast and in valley areas, they may strengthen to 14 m/s.
Waves at sea are forecast to reach force 1 to 3.
