A patient born in 1978 who was admitted to Gjilan Hospital after being wounded by a firearm has undergone surgery. According to doctors, his condition remains serious but stable.

The director of the Emergency Department, Naser Syla, said that after the medical examinations were completed, the wounded man was taken to the operating room for treatment.
On-duty teams from abdominal surgery, urology and anesthesiology took part in his care.
“The surgery has been completed. The patient’s condition is serious but stable. He is continuing treatment in the ICU,” Syla announced.
The incident occurred on Friday in the village of Livoç i Ulët in Gjilan, where two people, a man and a woman believed to be around 30 years old, were allegedly killed with firearms. Another person was also wounded in the incident.
