Stefkovski: Starting Monday, schools in Gazi Baba will begin classes with the Macedonian national anthem

Starting Monday, classes at all schools operating within the Municipality of Gazi Baba will begin every Monday with the singing of the Macedonian national anthem.

Mayor Boban Stefkovski said that parents had welcomed the measure, as the national anthem represents one of the main symbols and elements embodying a country’s identity, history and sovereignty.

Stefkovski said he believes the Council made the right decision during one of its sessions.
