The Mathematics exam results for the 2026 State Matura show slightly better performance than a year earlier. According to data made public by the Center for Educational Services, 25,051 graduating students sat the test, of whom 97.43% passed, while the average grade was recorded at 6.74.
The statistics show that this year 241 graduating students received the top mark of 10.00, while 645 students were graded 4.00 and did not manage to pass the exam.

Compared with 2025, the figures are more positive. A year earlier, 25,824 graduating students took the exam, the average grade was 6.47, and only 166 students achieved 10.00. At the same time, the number of those who failed Mathematics was 673.
Thus, in 2026 there were 75 more top marks and 28 fewer failures than a year earlier. The average also rose by 0.27 points, while the pass rate improved slightly, from 97.39% to 97.43%.
