Two meetings have been held between Albin Kurti, chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, and Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, as part of efforts to reach an agreement that would pave the way for the establishment of new institutions.

However, the talks held so far have not yet produced any concrete result, and the parties have failed to reach an agreement.
Blerim Sinani, a member of the LDK, told “Bota sot” that his party is seeking a comprehensive and balanced agreement that ensures institutional stability and takes into account the political weight of each side.

He stressed that such a solution is an essential condition, since an agreement that does not meet these criteria would serve neither the interests of the LDK nor those of Kosovo.
According to Sinani, the possibility of reaching an agreement remains open, provided that all parties demonstrate political will and a readiness to compromise.
He added that citizens expect functional institutions to be established, but this should not happen at any cost. In his assessment, the agreement must benefit the state and preserve respect for the partnership between the parties.
