Even after these discussions, the parties have not announced any concrete results and have not reached a cooperation agreement.
Blerim Sinani, a member of the LDK, told “Bota Sot” that his party is seeking a comprehensive and balanced agreement that would ensure institutional stability and take into account the political weight of both sides.
Sinani said the door to an agreement had not been closed, but that one could be reached only if there was political will and a readiness to compromise. He stressed that citizens need functioning institutions, but not an agreement reached at any cost.
“The LDK’s position is that the agreement must be comprehensive and balanced, guaranteeing institutional stability and respecting the political weight of each side. Without such an agreement, cooperation would not be in the interests of either the LDK or Kosovo,” he said.
“I believe an agreement is still possible if all parties demonstrate political will and a willingness to compromise. Citizens expect functioning institutions, but not at any cost. The agreement must serve the state and be based on respect for the partnership between the parties,” Sinani said.
