Protesters march in Tirana on the 89th day: “Your end has come!”, calls made for the arrest of Rama and Balluku

After the speeches in front of the Prime Minister’s Office ended, the protesters began marching along “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, continuing through Tirana’s main thoroughfares. The gathering marks the 89th day of civic resistance.

Holding banners and repeating loud chants, the citizens left the square in front of the government building to symbolically block the capital’s main roads.

During the march, the protesters addressed political actors with the slogans: “Your end has come!”, “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison!” and “Arrest Rama and Balluku.” Through these chants, they reiterated their demands for the government’s ouster, reform of the system and the removal of the old political elite.
