The protest held outside the Prime Minister’s Office has entered its 106th day, while participants have begun delivering speeches in the square. One of the protesters said that the presence of thousands of citizens after more than three months shows that the movement remains active.

“No one had imagined that, even after 106 days, we would once again be thousands in the square in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, Rama and his corrupt government,” he said.
According to the protester, those in power are relying on the economic strength of the oligarchy, patronage network operatives, the administration and gangs, with the aim of building a consolidated structure that is difficult to bring down.
“This government exploits the economic power of the oligarchy, the patronage network operatives, the administration and gangs to establish a deeply rooted grip on power. This is why, even though the people have been standing for 106 days, bringing it down is difficult,” the protester said.
However, he said that citizens’ resistance could bring about change, comparing the protest to a drop of water that weakens rock over time.
“We may not have had the strength to bring it down in 106 days, but I am convinced that we have the power of a drop of water which, by falling continuously, begins to crumble the rock,” he declared.
The protester also claimed that divisions had begun to emerge within the ranks of those in power. He cited the case of Mamica, who he said had taken a position against Skanderbeg, as well as the lawmakers who have come out against the government.
“The structure has begun to crack. We have Mamica opposing Skanderbeg and lawmakers who have taken a position against the government,” he said.
