Pre-trial detainee in Vlorë dies during transport to hospital

A person held in the Vlorë Pre-trial Detention Facility lost his life on the way to the regional hospital, where he arrived without signs of life.

He had shown health concerns inside his cell and was therefore rushed to the Regional Hospital of Vlorë, but despite intervention, he could not be saved.

So far, the causes and circumstances of the incident remain unclear, while authorities are expected to issue an official statement to clarify further details.
