Peja residents light candles for Arlinda Zekaj after her killing

The tragic incident on Sunday in Vitomirica, Peja, where Arlinda Zekaj was killed by her brother-in-law, has caused widespread shock among the public in Kosovo.

As a tribute to her, many residents gathered in Peja and lit candles.

Following the killing, Kosovo’s Assembly held an extraordinary session.

During the debate, MPs called for those responsible to appear before the courts and receive the punishment prescribed by law.
