Pacolli announced that a decision has been approved setting out clear rules and mandatory measures for festivals, concerts and other public events, with the aim of protecting the environment.
“Under the new decision, organizers must ensure proper waste management, the thorough cleaning of venues, compliance with permitted noise levels, as well as the protection of air, water and nature,” she wrote on Facebook.
She explained that, for activities that may have a greater impact, municipalities will also have the right to require financial guarantees for the rehabilitation of the space used.
“This decision establishes a new level of environmental responsibility in Kosovo. Cultural life and entertainment activities must develop alongside environmental protection. We will be uncompromising in implementing these measures, as a clean environment is a shared responsibility and an obligation to future generations,” Pacolli said.
