Rescue teams are continuing their search for those who have yet to be found. According to data reported by the BBC, the list of missing people is believed to include 133 Indian nationals, at least 47 Americans and 33 Britons.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for search-and-rescue operations to be intensified and for all necessary measures to be taken to manage the situation. A spokesperson described the scale of the damage as “beyond imagination.”
