Regarding calls for the Assembly to vote on the draft law on the Specialist Chambers and avoid the presidential election process by not taking part, Nagavci said she expects every political actor to take responsibility and fulfill their obligations in the Assembly of Kosovo.
She told RTK that taking part in the election of the president would avoid another election cycle and save the state budget, while creating an opportunity to address important issues, beginning with the preparation and involvement of all institutions in the state strategy to challenge this unjust decision before the Court of Appeals, through diplomacy and by continuing highly important projects.
Regarding the presidential candidate who withdrew from the race, Bekim Sejdiu, Nagavci said that he remains an important figure worthy of the position.
She added that she believes that, if lawmakers demonstrate the will, as they did when he was ready to take on this duty, he would reconsider his decision.
