The agreements aim to facilitate access to documents held in Croatia, promote the exchange of professional experience and create opportunities for the development of joint research projects.
This cooperation has now entered the implementation phase, as IKKL officials are taking part in professional training at the Croatian State Archives this week.
During his stay in Zagreb, IKKL Executive Director Atdhe Hetemi presented the institute’s activities to date and held talks with Croatian representatives on continuing the cooperation.
With the new agreements, Croatia becomes part of the IKKL cooperation network, which also includes Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The institute emphasizes that documentation on the war in Kosovo is held in numerous archives both inside and outside the country, while establishing agreements with various institutions is part of its research activities.
