Musliu: The Assembly belongs to no one, MPs should return to the session

PDK MP Ganimete Musliu, together with her party colleagues, called from the floor of the Kosovo Assembly for the constitutive session to continue. She urged all MPs, regardless of their political affiliation, to return to the Assembly and complete the constitution process.

Commenting on political developments in the country, Musliu said that Kosovo has been “held hostage” by a party which, she claimed, has placed its interests and ambitions for power above the well-being of citizens.

She stressed that citizens are waiting for policies that will improve healthcare services, create employment opportunities for young people and provide support for parents, farmers, workers and businesses.

“Today I want to speak about citizens who are waiting for policies to be developed for better healthcare services. About parents who are barely making it through the month. About young people seeking jobs based on meritocracy. About the farmer, the worker and the businessperson who struggles every day to keep their business alive and rightly asks: What is happening to our country? And the answer is simple and very clear.

Kosovo has been held hostage, and this is shameful. Kosovo has been held hostage by a party that came to power with grand words. Kosovo has been held hostage by a party that managed to exploit citizens’ hopes for a better life for its own ambitions for power,” she said.
