The Ministry of Interior announced that, over the past 24 hours, 13 drivers were arrested across the country for reckless driving.

Of those detained, eight had driven without passing the driving test. In Kavadar, a driver was caught under the influence of alcohol, while in Veles, a driver was arrested for driving despite an active driving ban against him.
Police also arrested two foreign nationals, one from Turkey and the other from Ukraine, after they were found driving at twice the permitted speed limit on the A1 and Skopje–Veles highways.
The Ministry of Interior said that, once the cases have been documented, the relevant charges will be filed, and called on all drivers to comply with traffic rules.
