Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci announced that a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed today with the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM). The agreement aims to create new opportunities for the academic and professional development of members of the Kosovo Security Force.
Under this cooperation, KSF personnel will have the opportunity to pursue undergraduate and master’s studies in English. The fields covered include management, public administration, psychology, technology, environmental management, international management and sustainability.

The agreement also provides for the development of training programs, seminars, workshops and joint projects between the two institutions. These initiatives are intended to promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as further strengthen professional and managerial skills.
Maqedonci emphasized that building an army is not solely about military training and capabilities, but also about education, leadership, professionalism and the ability to think strategically. According to him, investing in the education and professional advancement of military personnel constitutes a direct investment in strengthening the KSF and in the secure future of the Republic of Kosovo.
The minister described the memorandum as another important step toward creating a modern, professional force ready to face the challenges of the future.
