Mimoza Musa, a deputy from the VLEN coalition and a member of the Committee on European Affairs in the Assembly of North Macedonia, held a meeting with Fernando Mariano Sampedro Markos, who serves as State Secretary for the European Union in the Kingdom of Spain.

During this discussion, Musa stressed that they addressed issues related to the country’s European future, the dynamics of EU enlargement, and the need to capitalize on favorable circumstances to move forward on the integration path.
“Today I participated in the meeting with Fernando Mariano Sampedro Markos, State Secretary for the European Union of the Kingdom of Spain, in my role as a deputy and member of the Committee on European Affairs,” Musa announced.
She highly appreciated the unwavering support that Spain has given to North Macedonia’s European journey, emphasizing that as a significant member state within the European Union, Spain plays a key role in helping accelerate this integration process.
“I consider Spain’s steadfast support for our European future to be extremely important. Being an influential EU member state, Spain can make a substantial contribution to advancing our process toward full membership in the European family,” the deputy stated.
According to her, EU enlargement is a process that benefits all involved parties, and the future of the European continent is closely tied to a more united, stronger Europe built on shared values.
This meeting, the VLEN deputy noted, served as an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between North Macedonia and Spain, based on the exchange of experiences and best practices.
