Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci held a meeting with Germany’s ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, during which they discussed issues related to security in Kosovo and the region, as well as developments in the defense sector.

An important part of the discussion focused on advancing the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, with particular emphasis on joint training and exercises.
The parties also explored the possibility of expanding cooperation in the defense industry and military procurement processes.
The Ministry of Defense said that these relations aim to strengthen the KSF’s capabilities and improve its interoperability with international partners.
According to the ministry, these commitments serve Kosovo’s goal of increasing its contribution to maintaining peace, security and stability in the region and beyond.
Germany was described as an important and reliable partner of Kosovo in building a modern, professional force capable of contributing to collective security.
