Ramiz Lladrovci, the mayor of Drenas, has called for the start of a 24-hour countdown to form Kosovo’s institutions, expressing criticism over the institutional deadlock.

In a social media post, he stressed that the country must continue the process of constituting the Assembly, establishing the Government, and electing the President.
According to Lladrovci, the paralysis of the institutions is not a solution for a democratic state. He warned that this situation also sends a negative message to Kosovo’s allied countries.
Meanwhile, he also linked this countdown to the wait for the Hague Court’s decision regarding Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.
