Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that the Vetëvendosje Movement will take part in the session of the Kosovo Assembly, which is expected to be held tomorrow.

Asked whether his party would propose a candidate for the post of Assembly speaker, Kurti replied: “The Assembly session has been called for tomorrow, and we will be there.”
Kurti stressed that, alongside participating in the session, political meetings and consultations would continue in an effort to reach an agreement on the election of the president. According to him, the aim is to prevent the country from going to new elections.
“We are continuing with meetings and talks so that we can elect the president and avoid having to repeat the elections, which are unreasonable and costly,” he said.
Regarding the possibility of another meeting with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, Kurti said that communication with other political representatives was ongoing.
“I am constantly in communication with the others, and I believe you should put the questions to those who say they will boycott the election of the president,” the acting prime minister said.
These statements were made one day before the Assembly session, as political parties seek a way out for the establishment of the institutions and to avoid repeating the electoral process.
