J.J. is facing charges of “Aggravated murder” and “Unauthorized possession, control or ownership of weapons.” The indictment was filed against him by the Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja.
The incident for which he is accused occurred on March 21, 2026, at around 3:00 p.m., in Bokshiq, Klina. According to the indictment, following a property dispute between the victim and their father, J.J. allegedly took a firearm from the house and fired four shots at his brother.

His brother, Faruk Isufi, later died at Peja Hospital. The wounds had damaged an artery in his left leg, causing severe internal and external bleeding.
The indictment also states that the defendant unlawfully kept and possessed a 9×19 mm pistol, a magazine and 10 rounds of the same caliber. He did not have a permit for the weapon issued by the competent authorities.
According to a statement from the Peja Prosecution Office, upon filing the indictment, the state prosecutor asked the competent court to find the defendant guilty and sentence him in accordance with the law for the criminal offenses charged, following the trial and the admission of evidence.
