Heat wave brings temperatures above 40 degrees in North Macedonia; cooler weather expected from Sunday

The Institute of the Directorate for Hydrometeorological Affairs announced that the country will be hit by very hot weather tomorrow, while maximum temperatures in some areas will exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

However, a gradual drop in temperatures is expected from Sunday onward.

Afternoons will be marked by local instability, heavy rain, thunder and stronger winds. Storms accompanied by powerful winds and hail may also develop in certain areas.
