Friday begins with clear skies, while local rain showers are expected around midday

Friday is expected to bring generally stable weather conditions, but around midday and during the afternoon hours, much of the country will see temporary rain showers.

Until midday, the weather is expected to be clear, while afterward moderate and at times temporarily dense cloud cover will increase across most of the territory. After the afternoon, clearer skies are expected to return in most areas.

From midday until the afternoon, short-term light rain is forecast across most of the country, with the exception of the coastline and, in certain cases, the Western Lowlands.

In the mountainous areas of the east and south, the rainfall will be accompanied for short periods by thunderstorms and lightning.

After the afternoon hours, the rain will stop across the entire territory.

The wind will blow mainly from the northeast and northwest, with an average speed of around 7 m/s, while along the coastline and in valleys, it will occasionally reach up to 14 m/s.

In the Adriatic and Ionian seas, wave height will range from 1 to 3 on the Beaufort scale, favoring good sailing conditions.
