The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje has ordered an investigation into four people after various quantities of narcotics were found in their possession over the weekend. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the suspects are believed to have committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.”

The first case involves a 50-year-old father and his 19-year-old son. They are suspected of jointly storing around five kilograms of marijuana in their home on Makedonsko-Kosovska Brigada Street, divided among several bags and prepared for further sale. During the raid, police also seized three digital scales bearing traces of drugs.
A 25-year-old man from Aracinovo has also been placed under investigation. During a search, the authorities found and confiscated around 1.8 kilograms of marijuana packaged in ten bags, as well as a digital scale. He is suspected of possessing the drugs without authorization and with the intent to sell them.
A 23-year-old resident of Aerodrom is also being investigated for the same criminal offense. He is suspected of illegally concealing 640 grams of the psychotropic substance amphetamine, 541 yellow tablets and 0.15 grams of a thick yellow substance identified as 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine in an abandoned basement on ASNOM Boulevard, with the intent to sell them.
Also found in the 23-year-old’s possession were 69 perforated yellow cards containing LSD, a digital scale and other items bearing traces of psychotropic substances, cocaine and cannabis.
The public prosecutor has submitted a proposal to the competent court requesting that all four suspects be remanded in custody, the statement said./Telegrafi/
