Ana Dyrmishi, 25, from Durrës, has died after failing to survive the severe injuries she sustained in the fire at the “Brooklyn” hotel on Vlora’s Lungomare on August 16.

The young woman suffered burns to around 85% of her body. She was initially treated in Albania and was later sent to Turkey for specialized medical care.
However, despite the efforts of medical staff, her condition remained critical.
Ana lived with her family in the Shkozet area of Durrës. Her death has deepened the family’s grief, as they first faced the serious health consequences and now the loss of her life.
The incident occurred in the early hours of August 16, when the “Brooklyn” hotel was engulfed in flames. Six people were injured, while several of them escaped the building via balconies to flee the fire.
