The Ministry of Interior reported that at around 2:00 a.m. today, near the village of Radičevo in the Municipality of Vasilevo, an accident occurred on the Strumica–Radovish highway. It involved a Peugeot with Radovish license plates, driven by N.V. (19) from the village of Zleovo, in the Radovish area, and a Mitsubishi with Strumica license plates, driven by R.S. (58) from the village of Dobrejci, in the Strumica area.
R.S. died at the scene from the injuries he sustained, and his death was confirmed by a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service. D.A. (36), a passenger in the Mitsubishi from the village of Dabile, in the Strumica area, also sustained bodily injuries.

The public prosecutor and a team from the Strumica Internal Affairs Sector conducted an investigation at the accident scene. During the inspection, it was established that N.V. was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.32 parts per thousand measured in his blood, after which he was detained.
By order of the public prosecutor, the deceased’s body was sent for an autopsy.
