According to data published today by the State Statistical Office, a total of 5,232 pupils and students were accommodated in primary, secondary and student dormitories during the 2025/2026 school and academic year. This figure is 7 percent higher compared with 2024/2025.
In 2025/2026, nine student dormitories operated in the country, along with 19 dormitories for primary, secondary and religious secondary school pupils. They provided accommodation for 3,427 students, 1,750 secondary school pupils, 55 primary school pupils, 31 pupils from the Orthodox religious secondary school and 57 pupils from the Islamic religious secondary school.
