The protesters returned to the building of the Prime Minister’s Office after a massive march through Tirana’s streets and main thoroughfares, where the day’s gathering officially came to an end.
Day 47 of the citizens’ uprising against the government was marked by forceful speeches, creative messages written on the asphalt and a march that blocked the capital’s main junctions for several dozen minutes.

After returning near the seat of government, citizens and activists continued the chants heard throughout the protest: “Arrest Rama, arrest Balluku!” Through these chants, they once again demanded the immediate intervention of the new justice bodies regarding the reported corruption affairs.
Before dispersing, organisers and activists announced that the protest would continue tomorrow, on the 48th consecutive day of this popular resistance. Megaphones were used to call for greater citizen participation on the boulevard, with the aim of maintaining pressure on the ruling majority.
