The Crisis Management Center announced that 34 fires had been recorded in open areas over the past 24 hours. Of these, three remain active, while seven have been brought under control.

The active fires are located in the area between the villages of Burinec, Lokov, Selce and Elevci in the Municipality of Struga; near the village of Belitsa; at the Kajorec locality, toward the village of Brezica, in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod; and near the village of Brest, at the Ramno locality, in the Municipality of Čučer Sandevo.
Stojanče Angelov said yesterday that the risk of the fires spreading remains high and urged citizens to exercise caution.
