After the regular agenda items were completed, most MPs left the chamber. PDK and Alliance MPs remained in the Assembly.
Çitaku urged MPs to return to vote on the bill in its second reading. She stressed that the adoption of this law should not be conditional on the deadline for electing the president.
“The issue of the law and the issue of the president are separate matters. The law is an obligation; the president is an agreement. This is not a law for compromise or concession. This law is not a favor to the PDK; it is a favor to history,” Çitaku said. / REL
