The State Chief Prosecutor has asked the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja to submit a written report on the chronology of the steps taken by the prosecution office regarding the triple murder case in the village of Gllogjan.

The request comes a few days after the Basic Court in Peja acquitted the three defendants, Kastriot, Kreshnik and Halil Mehmetaj, who were facing charges over the triple murder that took place on November 26, 2021, in Gllogjan.
Two students and the bus driver lost their lives in the incident.
According to the indictment, Halil, Kastriot and Kreshnik Mehmetaj were suspected of having fired an assault rifle at a bus in Gllogjan on November 26, 2021, motivated by revenge. As a result, two 17-year-old students and the bus driver were killed.
