Following the authorities’ raid and the discovery of the laboratory, the Colombian fled Albania to evade justice. He was later identified and arrested in Colombia, prompting the launch of procedures for his return to Albania.
Following his arrival in the country, Saimir Rosales Rodriguez will now serve his 14-year prison sentence. The case involving the cocaine laboratory in Frakull continues to be regarded as one of SPAK’s most significant cases in the fight against organized crime and international drug trafficking.
