An anonymous phone call alerted Tirana police to a bomb allegedly placed at the Edith Durham school. Police were immediately mobilized and began carrying out checks, confirming that there were no explosives and that the call had been a false alarm.

Tirana police intercepted the caller’s number and discovered that Edmond Jatagani was behind the call.
He was arrested by the police and Counterterrorism services.
Jatagani had reportedly been escorted to the police station several times in connection with acts and calls inciting violence.
