“In all these meetings, I expressed my deep gratitude to our friends in the CDU and the Bundestag for their support for Albania, the Democratic Party and the opposition in Albania. I also informed my interlocutors about the deep crisis the country is going through under the autocratic dictatorship of Edi Rama, about the just demands of Albanian youth in the longest and most powerful protest in Albania’s history, as well as about the cynical stance of Edi Rama and his narco-government toward these demands.
During my stay in Berlin, we met and were hosted by my friend, former MP and former Kosovo deputy minister Gani Dreshaj, and other representatives of the diaspora, whom I sincerely thank very much for their hospitality and the assistance they provided us during our stay in Germany,” Berisha wrote alongside the photos.
