Balla advises students: Take Serbia as an example! The protest lasted 2 years and ultimately led to a vote! There will be no snap elections

The head of the Socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, spoke to reporters after the Socialist Party group meeting at the Parliament Presidium. Balla said there would be no snap elections, despite the protests against Prime Minister Rama.

Balla suggested that the protesting students take the example of students in Serbia, who protested for two years and then ultimately saw everything realized through a vote, with their victory.

Balla: Since you are not asking me the question, I suggest that students take the example of the students in Serbia. First of all, in any such case, the people who vote should be commended. All the projects initiated through the Berlin Process and other integration initiatives by Albania are continuing. These are sovereign decisions of other governments; I am not an oracle who can predict everything that will happen. There was a protest that lasted three years in a row and, in the end, it was realized through a vote.

Here, you need to understand one thing: the vote is what determines everything. In a democracy, forget about there being a change of power without a vote. Anyone who takes part in elections must register. In the model that emerged in Serbia, all the opposition parties dissolved and did not take part in the elections. You will have the Socialist Party here; it will be part of its Albania 2030 program. We will not negotiate the aspiration for EU membership with anyone. There will be no snap elections.
