Two citizens of North Macedonia have been declared undesirable by Albania’s Ministry of the Interior over suspicions that they engaged in activities detrimental to the Albanian state, Top Channel reports.

The decision was made at the recommendation of the State Police’s counterterrorism unit and was subsequently confirmed by the Ministry of the Interior.
Those declared “persona non grata” are Valon Beljan, also known as Valjon Bela, and Bekir Halimi, both citizens of North Macedonia.
Several weeks earlier, the Ministry of the Interior had also declared Ikballe Huduti “persona non grata,” banning her from entering Albania for 15 years.
