Altin Krasniqi announced that he had visited his father, Jakup Krasniqi, after the Special Court sentenced him to 25 years in prison today.

In his reaction, Altin conveyed his father’s thanks to every Albanian who supported the Kosovo Liberation Army’s just war.
He said that the former leaders are strong, proud and have a clear conscience about their activities.
“I have just finished my visit with my father,” Altin Krasniqi wrote.
According to him, this does not constitute a punishment for them, as they achieved victory in June 1999 and on 17.02.2008.
He stressed that this is a punishment for the people and the state of Kosovo, adding that the KLA is and will remain our pride.
