The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a delegation from the organization Albanians for America (AFA), composed of Gino Mulliqi, Gëzim Rushiti, and Janinë Memeti.

During the conversation, they discussed recent developments in the country, relations between Kosovo and the United States of America, as well as strategically important issues for the future, including accelerating the NATO membership process.
The AFA delegation reaffirmed its stance in favor of restarting the Kosovo–U.S. strategic dialogue, considering it an essential mechanism for deepening cooperation in the areas of security, economy, energy, and institutional strengthening.
The meeting also discussed opportunities for strategic economic and energy projects, with special attention to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. According to AFA, this project would help diversify energy sources, strengthen energy security, and create new pathways for investment and economic development in Kosovo.
The representatives also emphasized the important role of the Albanian-American community in strengthening ties between Kosovo and the U.S., expressing AFA’s commitment to continue promoting common interests and expanding bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the necessity of joint commitments to further strengthen the Kosovo–U.S. partnership and to advance Kosovo’s strategic objectives on the path toward Euro-Atlantic integration was underlined.
