Abdixhiku criticizes 6 LDK MPs: The state cannot be placed at the service of one ambition

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has once again responded to a group of six MPs from the party, accusing them of placing personal interests above those of the state.

Abdixhiku said that at first he had believed the political clashes were about principles and Kosovo’s interests. However, according to him, the race for the position of LDK chairman lies behind this situation.

“The state does not revolve around one ambition. I thought they were doing it for principles and for Kosovo; but it turns out the battle is for the LDK chairmanship, against one another. What a pity!” he wrote.

The LDK leader emphasized that the party he heads was founded on a different political approach, while its history is linked to sacrifice and dedication to the state.

“The LDK is known for something else. For a political class that once gave everything for the state, not for those who would give the state away for themselves,” Abdixhiku said.
