The health condition of Thimjo Rubati, the 50-year-old who was wounded in Friday evening’s shooting in Sarandë and was later taken to the hospital in Ioannina, has stabilised. He is now out of life-threatening danger.
According to sources at the Ioannina hospital, three gunshot bullets were found in his body. Two of them are near the liver, while another is in the lower back.

No vital organs were damaged by the bullets. Initially, the victim was given first aid and two units of blood at the Sarandë hospital, before receiving more specialised treatment from Greek surgeons.
At daybreak today, the investigative team returned to the scene where the incident took place. Security camera footage and other evidence are being collected across a wide area, while several people are being questioned.
